Not a boxer actually. It’s just a 180 degree V12 (or flat 12 if you like)

Boxers only come in 2, 4, 6, and (very, very rare) 8 configuration.

Boxer is on the top with dual crank pins, flat is on the bottom with a shared crankpin

The only thing I don’t like about the BB is its name. It’s been leading people to believe that the engine is an actual boxer for 40 years.
